Mr. William Shum, StandingCommittee Member

Mr. William Shum is the Founder and CEO of Memorigin Watch Co. Ltd. After graduating from the Ivy League's Cornell University with a Masters degree in Applied Economics and Management, he returned to Hong Kong and worked towards his Financial Risk Management certification from Global Association of Risk Professionals while working at an investment bank for around a year.

Mr. Shum then ventured into his own business; based in his own watch factory, he founded Hong Kong's only tourbillon brand "Memorigin" and within the next few years, his business rapidly expanded to over 20 countries worldwide. Nowadays, Memorigin's watches are commonly seen at leading watch and jewellery retail chains such as Prince Jewellery & Watch Company, Oriental Watch Company, TSL Group Limited, ISA and Chow Tai Fook, etc. Mr. Shum is also a proud recipient of multiple recognitions, such as the "Hong Kong Emerging Brand" Award in 2011, the HSBC "Youth Business Award” in 2012, “Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong" (YIAH) in 2015, "Global Chinese Outstanding Youth Award" in 2016, Hong Kong Famous Brand Gold Award and   Leadership Award in 2019, amongst others.
